Project “Growth of export competitiveness of Baltic Automotive Components Cluster members and promotion of the creation of the cluster network” No. 02-026-K-0012
From January 2024, the Baltic Automotive Components Cluster, together with companies in the cluster – UAB “KMT”, UAB “Stigma”, UAB “Baltec CNC Technologies”, UAB “Eurokubas”, UAB “Elameta”, UAB “SLT Industrial Components” – has begun to implement measures of the 2022-2030 development programme No. 05-001-01-11-04, “Implementation of measures to promote growth of export competitiveness for the project ‘Growth of export competitiveness of Baltic Automotive Components Cluster members and promotion of the cluster network’ ”. The amount of funding allocated from European Union funds is EUR 319,984.46. The duration of the project is 24 months.
The project seeks to promote the participation (inclusion) of exporting SMEs in international supply chains and strengthening of the positions of these companies in such supply chains. Investments will be made into strengthening the culture of partnership of SMEs and promoting the participation of the network of SMEs in international networks and clusters. The project seeks to increase the visibility, sales and export volumes of the companies belonging to the Baltic Automotive Components Cluster.
At the companies participating in the project, export specialists will be hired to search for new clients in foreign markets, and such specialists will be responsible for adapting products (production) to foreign markets, cooperating with major foreign vehicle manufacturers and clusters, seeking membership in international networks, and visiting and researching new markets, to develop the export potential of companies in the cluster.
The planned results of the project are increased international visibility of the cluster and of companies operating in the Central and Western Lithuania Region, and the subsequent growth of export volumes of cluster members and increased international competitiveness.
